Book Trust is Simple

Through donations and community partnerships, Book Trust attracts funds for designated schools, enabling qualifying children to choose and purchase books each month through Scholastic Book Clubs. Each Book Trust child receives buying power of $7 per month ($63 for the school year) to spend on books of his or her choice – usually around 20 titles/year.

Key to its impact, Book Trust gives children the opportunity to go ‘shopping’ for their own choice of books in the community of their peers. Book Trust provides long-term, consistent commitment to participating schools, catalyzing a lasting reading culture in both classrooms and homes.
