We are glad you would like more information about bringing Book Trust to your area!

We would like nothing better than to see Book Trust serve every eligible child, and we are headed in that direction. For the time being, we are concentrating our collective energy and funds on a few specific states and on very high-need schools; we are, however, happy to support independent initiatives to implement Book Trust in local communities.

Current focus. Currently, Book Trust is focusing its growth in schools of greater than 70% free/reduced lunch eligibility. We are especially interested in expanding in our current areas of operation: California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, New Hampshire, New York, Texas and Washington. We definitely encourage donors in those areas to make a contribution in support of reaching more schools and students! If you represent a likely school in one of those areas but are not sure of a funding plan, contact us to submit a statement of interest and secure a spot on our waiting list!

Local Initiatives. If you are interested in bringing Book Trust to your area or school but your location falls outside of our target regions or current criteria for dedicated funding, please contact us. We are happy to work with community groups and schools who collaborate to fund Book Trust programs for their students. We have worked with teachers, businesses, PTOs, service groups, book clubs, individuals, and others who have worked together successfully to implement Book Trust. We can provide you with informational materials to share with your community as well as assistance structuring a local Book Trust initiative.
