Welcome Book Trust Managers and Teachers!
The magic of the Book Trust program takes place in the classroom. Each year, thousands of teachers and support team members facilitate book selection, ordering, and distribution in service of the Book Trust program.
With your guidance, each enrolled student will have an opportunity to spend $12 on books, six times throughout school year. This comes at no cost to students or their families. We thank you in advance for being good stewards of these funds and working to maximize all Book Trust has to offer.
Book Trust will not cover the cost of any orders in December and January.
Book Trust ordering will resume in February, 2025.
If you have questions, please reach out to us at support@booktrust.org.
Be sure to add support@booktrust.org to your trusted contacts. Reach out to your I.T. department if you are not receiving our emails.
Students will have six opportunities to order this school year. The order windows are September, October, November, February, March, and April
For each of the six order windows, students will utilize $12 stipends. The stipend must be used by the end of each order window. Stipends do not transfer or roll over.
Digital flyers made specifically for Book Trust students will be available on the Book Trust website and in the monthly Book Trust Bulletin email. These are designed with students in mind and prices have been rounded to the nearest dollar to make choosing books easier.
Book Trust teachers place orders through Scholastic Book Clubs. All Book Trust orders must be placed on the Student Flyer Order tab.
Scholastic ships books to schools. Book Trust teachers coordinate celebrations to distribute the books to students and dedicate time to book exploration and reading in the classroom.

Students may spend up to $12 on books during each of the six order windows. Book Trust covers these costs by paying Scholastic directly. If orders exceed the student stipend, the account holder will be charged for the overage. The stipend does not transfer between students or order windows. Please ensure book orders do not exceed $12 in each student order.
Book Trust issues payments to Scholastic after the close of each order window. For example, the September order window will be paid in early October. This means your Scholastic account may show a balance for your recent order before the Book Trust payment is applied around the 15th of the following month.
You may also see a balance on your account if students spent more than $12 each. As a reminder, Book Trust is not responsible for students amounts above the $12 stipend.
Each school’s Book Trust Manager is the go-to support contact. Book Trust’s website is a one-stop shop for resources and best practices designed to support program implementation. Keep an eye on your inbox for monthly communications from Book Trust throughout the school year. If you need anything, reach out to Book Trust via email at support@booktrust.org.
If staff members change mid-year, please contact Book Trust Support at support@booktrust.org to enroll a teacher that is new to your school or takes over a Book Trust classroom. You can also bookmark the link to your Teacher Roster Form and use that Form to add new teachers to your roster throughout the year. We ask that teachers do not share Scholastic accounts. Teachers who join later in the year, and even long-term subs, should be added to your roster as a new teacher, and must complete the online Book Trust Teacher orientation prior to placing an order.
The order windows are September, October, November, February, March, and April.
Book Trust is curriculum neutral, which means teachers can decide how they want to celebrate the arrival of books in their classrooms each order window!
